G280-IL High Precision Linear Stage

The G280-IL is the largest stage in the ironless range, with a 280 mm width, travels from 100 mm up to 1200 mm and a 185 kg payload capacity. A high performance ironless linear motor delivers 240 N continuous force and speeds to 2 m/s, giving smooth, cog-free motion for heavier payload applications in laser processing, inspection and precision scanning.

Positioning Linear Stage

The G280-IL is a high precision linear stage engineered to perform in demanding industrial conditions across a wide range of sectors. Exceptional stiffness and high quality components, including ironless linear motors, heavy duty recirculating ball bearing guides and precision absolute linear encoders, give the series a clear performance advantage. G280-IL stages are optimised with high precision, non-contact absolute linear encoders, protected from debris by the stage sealing system. Precision recirculating linear bearings, combined with careful machining and assembly, deliver excellent geometric performance. The result is a stage offering precision, durability and reliability for industrial applications.

The G280-IL series takes full advantage of ironless linear motor technology. The absence of a ferromagnetic core in the stator eliminates cogging and any interaction between the stator and rotor magnetic fields, producing exceptionally smooth and precise motion. This makes the series well suited to applications where high accuracy and precision are essential.
